Clinical Psychologist

Sharon is an endorsed clinical psychologist who has worked in a variety of community and private settings. Sharon works with older children (12+), adults, including older adults, and couples.

Sharon is client-centred using an integrative approach with therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, Cognitive Processing Therapy (for trauma), Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Therapy and Mindfulness techniques.

Sharon uses both her clinical knowledge and practical approach to gain an understanding of each client and get alongside the client to collaboratively work towards their respective future goals or desired change. Sharon’s clients would describe her as warm, supportive and empathic, whilst also gently challenging and empowering to enable the desired growth and/or change.
